The first step was taken with the introduction through the SoHo Manager Smart formula. Here we have successfully started the basic setup. And the key person has mastered the basics of Odoo.

Month 1
Project Initiation Agreements

You go over the further steps with us, compiling a list of all desired results. The budget of licenses is adjusted and determined here, if necessary. A lot depends on the additional modules and the number of extra users. In the Genius formula we assume that with a good foundation you start from € 375,00 to € 450,00 / month and this is counted on 10 employees. 

After agreeing on the desired further steps, we are able to provide you with a personalized quote. 


After your approval of the project budget, we will start a consultancy assignment. For SoHo Genius, this is budgeted at €7,500.00. For this, the steps below are performed. The quote has determined the budget, but for a Genius formula you will be fine with 1 to 2 blocks of € 7.500,00 on average.

 
Server Setup

If necessary, we will modify the server for further use. Your installation will have 1 additional Odoo environment for testing. You will then have a Live, staging and a test environment. The staging server is also called the approval environment.


Together we will look at further training needed for your team. Further attention is given to layout and design of your communications with your clients. Document and e-mail layouts are addressed where necessary.

You continue following the online DIY instructional videos. You practice these in your test environment and ask questions to the community and our help desk. This is where you will pick up the modules that are indicated as further implementation after the basic assignment.


You collect all the additional necessary data to import or enter into your live environment. You can start doing it ahead of time if you think you've mastered it.


A Hands-on training starts for your key people. Here we begin with the basics of Odoo. The data you provide is tested for import compatibility. Instructions are given for manipulating the data to import correctly. We note any configurations or more complex settings to meet your needs. 
The key person in your organization is also entitled to phone support. For the other employees this is only done via e-mail. To keep your budget under control, we recommend that these support questions are directed to your key person.


You make the necessary adjustments to the data that needs to be imported. You transfer the knowledge to the necessary colleagues and give orders to manually enter non-importable data on the live version.


We clear the test environment and transfer what we set up together in the live to a new test environment.

Month 2

We go over all the requirements together in an online meeting and import the collected data into your live environment.


A final hands-on training starts for your key people. Here we will continue to expand the basic knowledge of Odoo. The training will be conducted on the test. Any new changes are made in the live.


After the final training and the given signal that all adjustments and tasks have been completed by everyone, you do a final test with your team. Then you give additional explanations and transfer any missing experience to your colleagues.

Month 3

You decide when you are ready. This is where any additional licenses of Odoo for the modules and number of users used by your organization start. You are now live!


Your billing for licenses is made directly with Odoo. They provide you with the settlement with a 30-day payment period.


Together we got to know each other well. Here we agree on how to proceed and what support formula you would like to provide. This depends mainly on the knowledge you have in-house, and if you or an employee will have time to help colleagues. Support is given via email and phone with the helpdesk.


You may start a service contract which is set on a quarterly budget. For a SoHo Genius this usually starts from € 2,500.00 per quarter for a project of 10 to 25 employees and a designated key person.

Month 4 - ...
Expanding Support & Succession

Are you satisfied, but want to go a few more steps beyond what we agreed on at the beginning? Then you can switch to the Advanced Genius formula. Here you can repeat the above steps for a budget of € 2,500.00 and together we will integrate additional modules.

In a best case scenario, an Odoo project setup could roll out after 3 months of preparation. Usually this is not possible due to time constraints in preparation. Getting a team together for training alone can sometimes cause delays. In our opinion, project turnaround time depends on two main factors:

  1. The data provided is clean and in a usable format

Basic Genius

Advanced Genius

Essentially, you always start with the Basic. And only when you are satisfied you take the next step by activating additional modules. Then you can start with the Advanced Genius. Admittedly, this step is still the basic workflow that can be used in Odoo. There is still no customization involved here.
